What SnapTheRoom does

SnapTheRoom lets you photograph a room and uses AI to identify the furniture and decor in the photo, then shows you shopping links for similar items. The items we identify and the products we link to are suggestions generated automatically — they may be inaccurate, unavailable, or priced differently than shown. Always check the retailer's own listing before buying.

Your account

You need an account to use SnapTheRoom. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. You can delete your account and all of your scan history at any time from the Profile tab.

Free scans and Premium subscription

SnapTheRoom includes a limited number of free scans. To continue scanning without that limit, you can subscribe to SnapTheRoom Premium.

• Subscription: SnapTheRoom Premium — unlimited room scans
• Length: 1 week, renewing automatically each week
• Price: the price shown in the app before you confirm your purchase, in your local currency

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies — we can't issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.

Acceptable use

When using SnapTheRoom, you agree not to:

• Upload photos you don't have the right to use
• Upload unlawful, offensive, or infringing content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service
• Use the app to build a competing product or dataset

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to harm the service or other people.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us the limited right to process those photos in order to provide the service — that is, to analyze them, identify furniture, and store your scan history so you can revisit it. We describe exactly how photos are handled in our Privacy Policy.

Shopping links

Some links to retailers are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. We aren't the seller — purchases are made with the retailer, subject to their terms, pricing, shipping, and returns. We aren't responsible for products bought through those links.

Service availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of SnapTheRoom at any time. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we can't guarantee the service will always be available or error-free.

Disclaimer and liability

SnapTheRoom is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for purchasing decisions you make based on the results the app produces. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

App Store terms

If you downloaded SnapTheRoom from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. The same applies to Google in relation to the Google Play Store.

Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use SnapTheRoom after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
